Get Involved with Twilight People
The Project
Twilight People is a landmark project that records and showcases the hidden history of transgender and gender-variant people of faith in the UK, past and present. This pioneering initiative explores faith and gender beyond the binary categories of male and female by means of oral history, film and photography. The diverse materials will be shared online, in an archive collection, and via other current learning tools including an app. We will celebrate the launch of the Twilight People touring exhibition at the LGBT History Month 2016, and invite you to join our numerous exciting events including an academic symposium. Partner organisations include London Metropolitan Archives, Islington Museum, University of Warwick, Gendered Intelligence, and the various LGBTQI & faith groups. Twilight People is supported by the National Lottery through the Lottery Heritage Fund and hosted by Liberal Judaism.
