Trans* and Faith Symposium, 05 May 2016, University of Warwick/UK
The deadline for session proposals is 29 March so don’t forget to submit your ideas.
You are warmly invited to attend the ‘Twilight People’ Trans* and Faith Symposium. This Symposium is to set a platform for the much needed dialogue across religious/spiritual and LGBTQIA+ communities to meet, share experiences, and discuss trans and non binary gender issues in a faith context.
This event is open to all communities.
Participation is free of charge. Capacity is limited and this will be a popular event so do book as early as possible – book your place:

SESSION PROPOSALS (max of 300 word abstracts )
Papers are invited from across the heritage, cultural, academic and grassroots communities. Our aim is to generate a dialogue within the fields of religion/faith/spirituality and LGBTQIA+ to enable research, create networks, share experiences, ideas and best practice through a programme of presentations and short talks that explore these intersections, past and present.
Papers/sessions can be from 10min-60min duration (we will have a mix of panels, workshops, talks etc.). Topics around (but not limited to) #trans #nonbinary #gender #gendervariance #identity #faith #religion #spirituality #heritage #TPOC #BAME #ritual #body #storytelling #oralhistory
All Session proposals to be submitted by 29 March 2016, 12 noon.

This one-day event, 9:00 -17:00, will be held at Radcliffe Conference
